MALE Academy members delivered meals to more than 80 people on Thanksgiving Day 2012 at the Carmelitos Housing Project in North Long Beach.

Welcome to the Jordan Male Academy!

The Jordan Male Academy is designed to help students develop personal and academic skills that will benefit them today and into their adult lives. The Academy was formed with the goal of students acquiring academics excellence, while learning to become leaders for themselves, their families, and their communities. Students will meet regularly to learn how to enrich themselves by building strong relationships while eliminating negative stereotypes. All members are required to pass each of their classes.

 

Mission Statement


The mission of the JHS MALE ACADEMY is to improve the graduation rate of underrepresented promising male students and to encourage life long learning by preparing them for college and career option. The program also seeks to address the physical, social, and emotional needs they face.

 

Goal


To become socially aware and college bound.
