Math Support of GEAR UP Students

GEAR UP students (Class of 2014) are being given the opportunity to receive extra math tutorial help and the chance to re-take any math test if they score less than a 70%. The courses participating in this program are Algebra 1-2, Geometry, and Intermediate Algebra. Student attend two, hour and a half re-teaching sessions for extra help. On the second day of re-teaching, students will be given the opportunity to re-take a modified exam for that chapter. If the student scores a 70% or above, their first test score  will be replaced with a 70%. Students must work out each retest problem and the work must support the multiple choice answer in order for their retest score to count. For more information, contact your math teacher or Mrs. Black.
