On a grant from Mountain and Sea Adventures, Jordan ACE biology students traveled to the MSA Camp at Emerald Bay, Catalina for three days.  Students explored lush kelp forests and studied ecology and ocean life through snorkeling and kayaking.  Hands-on labs in an outdoor setting, squid dissections and island ecology hikes helped to bring nature alive! Students came back to Jordan with an increased appreciation for the environment and an understanding of the ocean's critical importance to the survival of our planet.
